My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mateo- A cute, roly poly little tiger striped boy!

Mateo and his brother Mikey are sweet boys who were rescued together and have a pretty strong brotherly bond. They are both friendly but a little shy. As they've become more relaxed in their foster home, they've started playing and acting like typical kittens. So far, favorite toys are anything that hangs down, and they could grab at little springs, a glove with little mice attached and plastic balls. They enjoy climbing the cat tree and a little tussling from time to time.

When it's time to relax, you can often find them snuggled up together in a large, soft cat bed or on top of a small cat tree. They enjoy being pet and a little cuddling is fine. The more they purr, the more you'll know they approve!

Both Mikey and Mateo should be fine in a household with children, preferably older ones(or younger is fine as long as they're gentle and don't chase them). They'd also be fine with another cat or 2(not sure about dogs) after a slow, thoughtful introduction.

Now the fun part, bring a cat carrier in case you decide to take you cat home!

Sign Adoption Contract

You will be emailed a link to our online adoption contract. Simply fill it out online to transfer ownership from the rescue to you!

Pay Fee

Once you complete the online application using the below link, you will be able to discuss and ask questions directly to the foster parent. We believe this is a big advantage to you as our organization is completely foster based, we really understand our cats personalities at a deep level. This helps to ensure a great match with you and your family.

Completing our online application does not commit you to adopt from our rescue. Rather it helps us to understand your requirements and match you with the best possible cat or kitten.

Once you complete the application and it is approved, we can set up a meet and greet and if all works out, you may bring the kittens or cats home the same day. Please make sure to bring an adequately sized pet carrier with you to your meet and greet. We recommend a pet carrier which opens from the top as this is the easiest way to place a cat inside a carrier. If you do decide to adopt, we do expect you to take home your cat the same day as there are so many cats and kittens which need to be rescued from high kill shelters, we almost always rescue a new cat or kitten the very next day. If it is not possible for you to take your cat or kitten home the same day, we do charge a boarding fee of $10 per day for supplies and to encourage you to take your newly adopted cat home. We will board for a maximum of 3 days if needed to allow you time to get needed supplies.

Our adoption fees are listed at the link below. This fee includes full vetting, flea treatment, de-worming, spay surgery, FeLV and FIV test, microchip insertion, and vaccinations up to date for the kittens or cats age. We are able to PayPal or most major credit cards for the adoption fee.
