Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I’m a sweet, affectionate pup with a heart full of love to give. If you’re looking for a loyal companion, I’m your girl! I absolutely adore being close to my people and will happily curl up next to you at night, sleeping soundly until morning. I enjoy keeping your feet warm as we watch football, movies, or a good series on Netflix! Just a heads up, when I am in a deep sleep, I snore - it’s adorable!
A definite way to my heart is through food, yep, I’m a “foodie”. Which is good news for you, it motivates me to be a quick learner of new skills! Even though I really like treats, I am a gentle eater and will take my time eating my food. I enjoy being outside and smelling all the new Minnesota smells. I’m working hard on my leash skills when going for a walk, but I am getting better every day. I’m also house trained, so you won’t have to worry about any accidents. I’m even good with cats, so if you have a feline friend, I’d love to meet them! My foster family’s kids are in college, so I am not around little kids on a daily basis, but my friendly disposition makes my foster family believe I will be good with kids too.
I’m still learning to like my kennel, but I am hopeful that I will get there with patience and positive reinforcement.
If you’re looking for a loving, loyal companion, I’d love to be part of your family. I can’t wait to meet you and share all my love and happiness! -------------------------------------------- All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption.
Please note that the majority of our dogs in rescue are from shelters where they have been found as strays or abandoned. Their breed description is based on our very best educated guess based on physical characteristics and their dispositions. If they came to our rescue as an owner surrender, the breed description will be listed as provided by the previous owner.

The mission of Warrior Dog Rescue is to save the dogs that are homeless, left abandoned in shelters, are surrendered by their owners, those that are being abused and neglected, and those that are left wandering. We are committed to providing them the medical care they need, helping them to overcome their past by providing them loving, educated foster homes, finding them their perfect forever home by means of a thorough adoption process, and guiding them on their journey into their new life. They all deserve a “good dog life… every single one of them.”
Warrior Dog Rescue will be a model rescue by partnering with overcrowded shelters that need to make room for more abandoned dogs. We will continue to educate others about responsible dog ownership in regards to safety, spay/neuter, nutrition, obedience, socializing, abuse, and neglect. We acknowledge that we will have a role in this industry to take the lead on providing awareness to others in the community and across the country. Every dog will know what it feels like to be loved till the end of their life.
