My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Are you looking for an adorable and spicy new friend? Agnes is looking for her forever home! She’s a fun-loving, outgoing pup who has never met a stranger she hasn’t loved!

This feisty girl has had an attitude for days! Her foster says she’s happy to be in the middle of everything and isn’t afraid to show her sassy side. She loves spending time with humans and especially adores her fur friends!

Agnes is fantastic at taking social cues from dog pals and kitties, too! This social gal just wants to play and has no fear! She will climb all over her pals and lick their jowls. She also loves chew toys, squeakers, bones, and - of all things- broccoli! What a silly girl!

Agnes is a dream to train and already knows several cues including no, leave it and potty outside. She does well in the crate overnight and uses the doggie door when she needs to go potty. Smart pupper! As with all puppies, Agnes will need continued training and socialization in her forever home to grow up to be her best self.

Agnes is estimated to have been born at the end of May 2024 and as of early September, weighed in at 20 pounds. We believe she is a pit bull mix but there could be other breeds in her as well. Whatever her mix, she will steal your heart with her cute head tilt and her ability to be comfortable in a variety of settings!

Agnes’s adoption fee is $550. She is spayed, up to date on age appropriate vaccines, and microchipped. Per our rescue policy, unless specifically noted in a dog's bio, we will not consider adoption applications from families with children under 5 years old.

More about this rescue

Forgotten Dogs Rescue is a volunteer and foster home based rescue organization focused on saving Pit Bull type dogs. Located in Washington State, we are a 501c3 non-profit and have been saving animals since 2011. We are dedicated to rescuing homeless and abandoned dogs who are in Washington's shelters, surrendered by their owners due to difficult circumstances or are in danger of abuse or neglect.

We save the dogs that need help the most, the dogs whose time has run out, the dogs who have lost all hope — the forgotten dogs.
