My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Let's post Bluto....

This will be a bitter sweet adoption...
Bluto has been in the rescue for 6 months. He is a 9.5 months old neutered male Mini Goldendoodle. 3/4 poodle and 1/4 golden.
Bluto was adopted out at 10 weeks old and was soon returned due to on going seizures. The adopters vet suggested him be euthanized. When we got the call, we immediately took him back in the rescue and worked around the clock with our vet.
It was touch and go for many weeks....
Bluto was having multiple daily seizures

During these weeks, we tried many medications, his foster spent many sleepless nights watching over him to ensure someone was with him for every seizure.

We are so excited to say, Bluto has been seizure free for 3.5 months. Our vet gave us the thumbs up for vaccines, neuter and now adoption.

Bluto is on 2 medications, and will most likely be on them for life to control the seizures. At 9.5 months old, his weight has stabilized, so his medications have not increased due to weight change. Currently 19 pounds. Vet thinks he may go to 20 pounds, but meds would still stay the same with that 1 pound difference.

Bluto is EXTREMELY intelligent, and emotionally connected to people. It's like he can read your thoughts. He is very calm and gentle. Bluto would be FANTASTIC with kids, especially if a child is having some emotional or social issues. Bluto is potty trained, sleeps in bed with his foster and is great with all dogs, big or small. Bluto would be fine with cats as well.

We are looking for a home where Bluto's medical needs can be met. We will be showing him to several families and will choose a family that best fits his needs.
