Oh Casper! This guy is small but mighty. Casper came to Pathways from a hoarding case in Santa Cruz. He has lived most of his life outside with a lot of dogs, mostly bigger than him. Yet he learned how to get noticed. He's the first to greet you when you walk through the door, like a bouncer at a club, he's checking to make sure you're safe to enter. He's also quick to tattle when others are misbehaving. Casper would enjoy a human to follow around everyday and join in their activities.
Casper is almost 3, current on vaccines, neutered and microchipped. He does have a deformed back leg, but he doesn't let it stop him. He acts like any other dog at Pathways! Casper will need guidance with a leash, however he is kennel trained. Coming from a home where he rarely went inside, he will need continued potty training to learn proper indoor manners. Due to his lack of human interaction, we believe he would do best in a home with older children. We are unsure how he will do with cats.
Please complete an adoption application at www.pathwaysforpaws.com. If he fits your family and lifestyle, you will be contacted within 48 hours.
