Meet Hazelnut, a loving mama cat looking for her forever home! After caring for her kittens, she’s ready to find a family of her own. Hazelnut is a sweet, gentle cat who may be a bit shy at first but quickly warms up and loves to cuddle. Her affectionate nature shines through as she purrs contentedly and seeks out head scratches. Hazelnut is also known for her calm demeanor and quiet companionship, making her an ideal choice for a relaxed home environment. The longer she has been in foster care, the more we have seen her playful side come out, too. Her favorite toy is essentially a cotton ball, and she loves to put it in her mouth and walk around. Hazelnut in great health—spayed, vaccinated, and ready to go. Hazelnut would thrive best in a quiet home, ideally with another cat for companionship, though she’s also good with other cats and can adapt to older children. She may need some time to warm up to dogs, but she is fostered with dogs and does okay.

We believe this cat was born 5/1/2023. It is fostered in a private home in Lincoln. The adoption fee is $125 which covers age appropriate vaccines and dewormings, a microchip, FIV/FeLV testing, and a spay/neuter. The adoption fee helps cover the cost of these vetting procedures. If you’re interested in adopting this kitten/cat, please submit an inquiry or email BraveAnimalRescue@gmail.com to ask about our adoption process (please check your spam or junk email if you do not hear back from us within a few business days). We are 100% volunteer staffed and will respond to your email as soon as possible. After you have submitted an application and been approved, we will set up a meet and greet between you and the kitten/cat. Meet and greets are held virtually via Zoom and we offer a trial period to ensure your cat/kitten is a match. Please be sure to follow us on Facebook and Instagram to learn more about Brave Animal Rescue and our mission.
