My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

SYLVIE

Available for Foster to Adopt

Hi there! My name is Sylvie, and I'm a young bulldog pup with a big personality and an even bigger heart. I was found wandering the streets of Chicago, and now I'm looking for my forever home! You know how most stray dogs come into shelters all skinny and underfed? Well, not me! I actually had a few too many treats before arriving at CARE. But don't worry – I'm working on getting fit and fabulous!

Since coming to CARE, I've been following a special diet (but don't worry, I still get yummy snacks!). I love munching on crunchy carrots and cool cucumbers, and I strut my stuff on the treadmill every day. It's all part of my journey to become the healthiest, happiest pup I can be! When it comes to what I love, where do I start? I'm a big fan of zooming around like a furry rocket – those zoomies are the best! I also adore playing games (got any toys?), snuggling up for some quality cuddle time, and making new friends.

I'm looking for an experienced dog parent who knows all about bulldog-type breeds (we're special, you know!). My ideal human will help me stay on track with my health goals and have enough energy to keep up with my playful spirit. If you're ready for a sweet, fun-loving pup with a huge personality, then I might be the girl for you! I promise to fill your days with laughter, love, and lots of doggy kisses. Come meet me at CARE, and let's see if we're meant to be best friends forever! I can't wait to show you just how much love I have to give.

I will be spayed and microchipped and have had a full veterinary checkup and vaccines. My adoption fee is $325. For more information or if you would like to meet me, please fill out a foster survey at carenorthshore.org/dog-foster-survey

Love and tail wags, Sylvie

Our fees include a full medical exam by a veterinarian. This includes a Feline Leukemia and FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) test for cats, Rabies and Distemper Vaccines, deworming and Spay/Neuter. Dogs receive a Heartworm Check, Spay/Neuter, Rabies and Distemper Vaccines, Canine Flu Vaccine, deworming, and Kennel Cough preventative. Our modest adoption fees do not cover the procedures and vet work that we provide the animals. We fundraise to make up the difference. Any ongoing medical needs that C.A.R.E. is aware of are explained fully, (including daily medicine costs), to the potential adopter, and become the responsibility of the adopter.
