Tito is a shy but affectionate chihuahua and dachshund mix. He was surrendered, along with his sister Luna, by the owner's family as the owner has developed dementia. In his foster home, Tito is finding his security and confidence again. In his original home, there was chaos and he didn't understand any of it.
Tito would do best in a loving home, no small kids. He is small and I would prefer he wasn't overwhelmed by toddlers.
He takes a little bit of time to trust and warm up to new people but he is young and will learn quickly. Where his sister was the boss of the duo, Tito is more timid but he absolutely enjoys affection and a lap. Now that she has been adopted, Tito is starting to come into his own and really blossom. He's funny, he's a good boy but now that she's not directing him, he's kind of seeing how far he can get away with things.
He seems to do fine with the larger foster dogs, I can't see that he would mind a dog savvy cat but he does want to play with everyone, even if they don't want to play with him. I think he would really benefit from having a playful canine companion.
He has to use pee pads most of the time, in his current foster situation but on the weekends, when he can access the outdoors, he is good about going outside to potty.
