“Blu: The Ultimate Foster Dad, Now Available for Adoption!”

Meet Blu, the cat so good at fostering that we forgot this was supposed to be temporary. We initially planned to keep him for just a year, but here we are, 14 months later—still completely smitten by his gentle heart and dad-like instincts.

Born on 8/23/23, Blu came to us as a bottle baby, just a few days old. Since he was hand-raised, Blu bonded deeply with people and has become the most affectionate and attentive cat you could imagine. But his magic really shines with kittens.

Every litter we’ve rescued since Blu arrived has been embraced like his own. Blu doesn’t just tolerate kittens—he LOVES them. He grooms them, comforts them, teaches them how to cat properly, and, most impressively, never gets annoyed when they try to nurse on him. (Even though Blu is like, “Guys, I love you, but we need to have a little anatomy talk.”)

When it comes to playtime, Blu is a laser-pointer legend. Watching him leap for the laser with the energy of a kitten is adorable—but even better is watching the little ones try to copy him, bouncing just a couple of inches off the ground in pure determination.

Blu isn’t just all about kittens, though—he knows when to make time for himself. He takes breaks from his foster duties to get the love and attention he deserves. And when Blu wants some personal affection, you’ll know it: he’ll gently headbutt you, then purr so loudly you might need to pause conversations just to hear yourself think. If you try to ignore him? Good luck. Blu’s persistence is as sweet as it is irresistible.

He’ll be there for his humans and his kittens alike, making every member of the household feel special. Whether the house is full of kittens or it’s just Blu and his people, he’ll give the same unwavering dedication to his family.

If you’re looking for a cat who’s the perfect mix of a wise old soul and has playful personality, Blu’s your guy. He’s been the best foster dad, but now he’s ready for a home to call his own. Adopting Blu means gaining a cuddle champion, kitten whisperer, and best friend all in one.

Don’t miss out on this rare opportunity—adopt Blu today and bring home a cat so wonderful, you’ll want to keep him… forever.

We are a Christian-based organization with a Mission to Improve the lives of cats. We specialize in cats that will bond closely but would otherwise sit on the shelf because they are shy or need special understanding and would otherwise never know the love and comfort of a forever home. *Please do not adopt if you believe in disciplining a cat, including ‘water bottle training.’ We are a behavioral rescue and believe in positive redirection to adjust behavior rather than punishment with cats.

More about this rescue

PurrInc.org is a Cat Rescue dedicated to Improving the Life of Cats. We specialize in Behavior Modification and Education. Socialization of kittens and semi-feral cats. Trapping, spay, neutering, surgical recovery and re-homing of outside and feral cat populations. High-risk cases, Orphan kittens.

We are a Christian-based, Behavioral organization with a mission to Improve the Lives of Cats. We specialize in cats that will bond closely, but would otherwise 'age out on the shelf' or be abandoned outside because they are shy, or need special understanding. Without such efforts, these kitties would never know the love, safety, and comfort of a furever home.
