My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

📣🏈📣🍺 MONTY IS THE PERFECT CHILL DOG LOOKING FOR A COUCH TO WATCH MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL ON!!! 📣🏈📣 🍺

Are you looking for a SUPER chill dog to hang with while watching football and having a few beers? 🍺🏈 Then look no further, because we have the dog for YOU!!!

Monty is a super chillaxed pup who would be happy with a couple of walks a day and then chilling with you and your pack. Monty is one of the dogs we took in from the Santa Cruz Animal Control shelter in Nogales, Arizona. Monty has been living in Central Tucson with his foster, and three canine foster siblings! He does great with other medium to large size dogs, but small dogs and cats are a no for this guy!

We estimate he is about 2-3 years old, but he seems to be an old soul dog. He Is gentle and quiet, and really craves affection but also is happy just to chill out around his other canine companions and humans.

A little about Monty:
* UTD on shots 💉
* Neutered ✂️✂️
* Microchipped 💻
* 2-3 years old 🗓️
* About 60 pounds ⚖️
* Potty trained 🚽💩
* Very Dog friendly 🐕💖🐕
* No cats 😼🚫😼
* Chill couch potato 📺🛋️
*Loves to snuggle 🤗 🥰
*Would do great in a variety of homes as he's just as happy going for walks 🐕🚶‍♀️or lounging like a lizard. 🛋️🦎

More about this rescue

Hello! Thanks for checking us out. We are a 501-c3 non profit rescue and rehab service in Tucson, AZ

We rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome dogs from the streets of Mexico in cooperation with other animal rescue organizations in the United States, Mexico, and Canada.

Our shelter in Hermosillo, Sonora, Vidas Con Causa, currently has over 150 dogs. There, we provide medical care and a loving place for them to heal before coming to the US, then we foster and work on finding the perfect fit for adoption. You can also visit the available dogs at the rescue in Mexico. Our rescue partners spend a lot of time getting to know the dogs and we know MOST of their
perks and quirks!

We help special needs dogs, the amputees, the pregnant Pitties, the MexiMutts, those from small independent shelters who don't get much notice, the cancer patients. We provide round-the-clock care until these dogs are ready for rehoming.
