My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Shrek (aka Mozart)! This 4-6-month-old mixed-breed pup is full of love and cuddles. He gets along well with his foster siblings and is respectful when corrected by the bigger dog in the house. Though he was initially curious about the cats, he’s quickly learning to respect them and now mostly ignores them.

Shrek does well in his crate, often going in on his own. While he may whine for about 10 minutes when crated, he settles down and sleeps through the night. If he needs to go potty during the night, he’ll let you know. His potty training is progressing well—he’ll go to the back door and whine when he needs to go out, though he’s still had a few accidents.

Shrek loves to swim and enjoys walks, though he’s still working on leash training. He’s a bit timid at first but warms up quickly. He does have a habit of jumping, but we’re working on that. Though he’s doing well in his foster home, it’s unclear how he’d be with small children.

This sweet boy is looking for a loving home where he can continue to learn and grow!
