Matilda is a fluffy golden Husky puppy with a heart full of potential. At just a few months old, sheandamp;#39;s already faced more challenges than most pups her age, but her spirit remains unbroken.andlt;br/andgt;andlt;br/andgt;Matilda has become At Risk due to her growing selectiveness with other dogs, likely stemming from the stress of shelter life and an injury. While she has been paired successfully with other dogs in the past, her current circumstances mean she would do best as the only pet in her home or in a situation where she can meet potential doggy siblings beforehand to ensure a good match.andlt;br/andgt;andlt;br/andgt;Currently, Matilda is recovering from a potential fractured leg caused by her shelter stress. She is undergoing diagnostic testing and is in urgent need of a foster or foster-to-adopt home to give her the stability she desperately needs to heal-both physically and emotionally.andlt;br/andgt;andlt;br/andgt;Despite these challenges, Matilda is blossoming into an outgoing, energetic, and friendly pup. She may be a little shy when first meeting you, but once she warms up, her playful personality shines. She already knows how to andamp;quot;sit nicely, andamp;quot; loves a game of fetch, and is perfectly happy entertaining herself with her favorite toys.andlt;br/andgt;andlt;br/andgt;Matilda needs a patient, loving home where she can feel safe and grow into the amazing dog sheandamp;#39;s meant to be.

Additional adoption info
All adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis and must be made in person. As a high-intake shelter, most of the pets that come to us are strays, meaning we have limited background history on the pet, such as health, behavioral or living history. All adoptions include the animal's spay/neuter procedure, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and city license. All adoptions include a 7 day free trial with our training partner, GoodPup to help ease the transition!
