Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Rand entered San Bernardino City Animal Control as a stray found running around with two other dogs - a chihuahua and German Shepherd. The other chihuahua was returned to the owner, and the shepherd went to a GS rescue. We scooped up Rand until September 9th. He is about 12 years old, weighs 9.5 lbs., and is an all-around good boy. Rand is also a friendly companion who adores attention from people.
Soon after Rand became a Frosted Face, he joined volunteers and other dogs for a stand-up paddle boarding adventure. He earned raves for riding nicely in the car, getting along great with all the dogs, and being a very sweet, calm SUP buddy!
Rand is currently on his second Frosted Fling, and as in his first fling home, he is being a wonderful houseguest and a joy to have around. His current Fling Mom shares:
"Rand is such a happy friendly little guy. Everyone is his friend, human or dog; as soon as he met my four dogs it was like he knew them all his life. Rand is house-trained and goes to the door if he needs to go out. I've been gone for up to 4 hours, and he doesn't show any signs of separation anxiety.
Rand likes to cuddle and be held. He stands on his hind legs and does a little dance when he wants a treat. He is definitely not a picky eater. Rand likes going on walks and is doing well on the leash, but he doesn't like to go really far-about half a mile is his limit."
If you're looking for a sweet and playful companion, Rand is ready to join your family! Please email adopt@frostedfacesfoundation.org to meet this special boy.
