Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Rand entered San Bernardino City Animal Control as a stray found running around with two other dogs. When he wasn't claimed, we scooped him up on September 9th to become a Frosted Face. Rand is about 12 years old, weighs 9.5 lbs., and is an all-around good boy who adores attention from people.
Soon after Rand became a Frosted Face, he joined volunteers and other dogs for a stand-up paddle boarding adventure. He earned raves for riding nicely in the car, getting along great with all the dogs, and being a very sweet, calm SUP buddy!
Rand is currently on his second Frosted Fling, and as in his first fling home, he is being a wonderful houseguest and a joy to have around. His current Fling Mom shares:
"Rand is a very easy dog to have. He’s silly a lot of fun. He is always happy! Rand wants to be in same room with me, preferably in my lap, but he is polite and will sit or sleep if I’m busy.
Rand is super sweet and loves everyone, but people that approach him too quickly scare him.
Rand has started to play with toys and has had the zoomies. He likes to go for car rides and is perfect in the car. He usually sits or sleeps in the back.
Rand wasn’t sure about riding in a sling at first, but now he loves it. The first time I took him to a grocery store, and he sniffed the entire time. In the sling, he’s calm and quiet, and curious about everything around him.
Rand prefers sleeping in a crate and always sleeps under a blanket. In the evenings, he sleeps on my lap.
Rand had eye surgery in November and it hasn’t slowed him down one bit—he is completely healed and ready for his forever family."
If you're looking for a sweet and playful companion, Rand is ready to join your family!
