My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My humans adopted me as a puppy and then became homeless. When they got an apartment, they were told I was too big. They were sad to bring me back to Taylor Jones Humane Society. I was so sad and very frightened! The nice folks there have taken me in and helped me learn to be friendly and sweet instead of frightened. I love to play, especially with other dogs. They tell me every day that someone will come to love me. Could you be my someone? Recently, I went to an event and had so much fun. I loved all the people, kids and dogs and even a cat. I also went on a weekend stay with a nice lady. She let me play with her 2 year old doodle and said I was such a good girl.

More about this shelter

We are a No-Kill Shelter that has been around for over 50 years. We are run by volunteers that love caring for dogs and cats that have no homes. We believe in spaying and neutering to reduce the number of animals being euthanized. Because of this, we do not allow any animal old enough to be spayed or neutered to be adopted until the procedure is done.
