My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet King, a handsome boy who is looking for a new thrown to call his own! This playful and energetic guy was surrendered by his previous family when their living situation changed, but that hasn`t dimmed his royal spirit. King absolutely loves spending time outdoors, running around in the yard or even going on long walks. He is also a treat catching champion, just toss one in the air and he will show off his skills! King is looking for a home where he can get plenty of playtime, attention, and of course, some of those royal treats. Could your home be fit for a King?

Additional adoption info

We encourage everyone interested in adopting a new pet to come visit the San Marcos Regional Animal Shelter to view the wonderful selection of cats, dogs and small animals we have available for adoption. When you see an animal you are interested in, come in as soon as possible as we are first come, first serve and are unable to place HOLDS on pets over the phone.

Speak to an Adoption Counselor at our Adoption Center regarding your interest to adopt and they will advise you of the Hold and Adoption process. All pets adopted from our facility are microchipped, spayed or neutered and vaccinated for Rabies prior to being released to the adopter. This is required by Texas State Law for any animal adopted from an animal shelter or rescue group. We do allow out of area adoptions as long as the selected pet is old enough to receive these services prior to being released to the adopter.
