Hi. I'm Sonny. I'm a 5 year old, 29 pound, male, black and white corgi mix. I am a bit shy at first but I am starting to come out of my shell. You see, I was one of 90 dogs living in a hoarding situation. My corgi brother and I were just sprung from there a few days ago and we are still trying to figure out how to survive in a much quieter and safer environment. Sounds weird, right? When that's all you know, you get used to living that way so it will take a patient adopter to understand that it will take awhile for me to start acting like a regular dog.
I can be playful with other dogs when I forget to be watchful. I like car rides and being outside. I am kennel trained and mostly house broken. I will be learning to use a doggy door. I don't mark in the house and get along well with other adults and small dogs. It is unknown about large dogs, cats, and kids as foster mom does not have any of those. It is felt that I would do best as an inside dog but would need regular exercise.
So, if you are interested in a handsome fella like me, have your peeps call mine, and I'll be right over.

Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)

We transport all over the country and have regular routes we run. References available upon request.

However, the sheer number of needy animals in Bexar county TX +usually means we become full quickly after the dog is adopted. We are a group of loving and dedicated individuals who work together to save as many deserving animals as we can. We work tirelessly to assure the animals are well fed, socialized, are healthy and then find them the wonderful home they only dreamed of in the shelter or starving on the streets.
