Meet Bruce!

Bruce is a 10 month old puppy, very handsome, very energetic, black mouth cur & german shepherd mix (we think)! As a baby, Bruce found himself being given away at a Farmer’s Market in South Jersey. Thankfully he was able to find refuge in a loving foster home for the past 6 months. However, Bruce has decided his current foster family of couch potatoes isn’t quite the adventure he was hoping for- and is looking for a family of his own who can better meet his needs.

Bruce has lived with other dogs and cats. He loves to play! Bruce could go home to a compatible dog-sibling(s). He is learning how to play more respectfully with dogs who don't share his excitement. Bruce would make a fierce running partner, or skateboarding, biking- any sort of outdoor activity, really! Bruce is working hard on his leash manners and knows sit, paw, come -and is learning wait, leave it, & down! Bruce does not like his crate, and may do better in a home where someone can be home for him or allow him to stay out of his crate. He is housebroken.

Introduction to new cats would have to be very slow and cautious, although Bruce lives with cats currently, he is known to chase. Bruce is a very excitable boy, it is best that he goes to a home without small children. He could potentially do well with mature teenagers.

He is recently neutered, up to date on all his shots, & is also microchipped. Bruce will go home with a raised food bowl, wonder walker harness, & a bag of dog food!
