Meet Harper, an 8-year-old, 7-ish-pound mini long-haired Dachshund who’s sweet, calm, and always ready for a cuddle. She loves belly rubs, lying on her back, and sitting next to you for attention—often tapping your shoulder with her paw for head scratches. Despite being nervous at first, Harper quickly relaxes and becomes the quiet, affectionate companion you didn’t know you needed.

She walks well on a leash, enjoys a casual stroll, and totally loves treats! She’s not interested in toys as of yet, but adores being petted and getting all the love.

Harper is puppy pad trained, and hasn’t barked since coming to her foster home. She might be a bit shy at first, but this quiet, sweet Doxie is the best little snuggle buddy who will fit well in just about any home—especially if you’re looking for a laid-back, loveable companion.
