Piper LOVES to play! She would love to go to a home with another playful dog (or 2)! She has been around kids from 2-13 and loves them so much-especially the 4 year old. She does try to play a bit hard with her, but she's working on it and I'm confident that she will learn how to play more gently with some more practice. She would love to play all day long, but will go and take a nap if put into her crate or if we stop paying attention to her. She is very calm in her crate and sleeps in there all night (after she's had some pre-bedtime snuggles). She is Very smart and picks up new commands with just a few minutes of training. She knows sit, lay, roll over, come, and is working on stay. She's really close to being fully potty trained. She never has accidents in her crate and only ever has them in the house when I forget to put her outside after awhile. She is super friendly and wants to meet every person and animal that we come across. She loves being with her people and doggy friend- she doesn't like to be left all alone and will happily go on rides, walks, to games, or anywhere we can take her (she's happy at home with her doggy friend). You will want to come and get to know an animal before you decide. We do not have "trial periods" for adoptions.

Approve Application
Usually applications are filled out and approved or declined the same day.

Sign Adoption Contract
The process usually takes about 20 minutes.

Take the Pet Home
Same day adoption is the norm here. We want them to go to a home as soon as possible after becoming available for adoption.

All adoptions include a voucher towards a spay/neuter, rabies vaccination, license(dogs), month of pet health insurance, and a microchip ($15 option) with lifetime registration. Generally, adoption prices for male and females are $100 if already spayed/neutered. Cats are Free to $27, male or female. All adoptions include voucher towards the mandatory spay/neuter if animal is not already S/N.

Our stray period is 5 business days, after which an animal will be observed for adoption to the public or to go to rescue.
