My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

*** Daisy is in a foster home ***

Black & white tuxedo, short hair, spayed female, born approx. 3/22/22, #18914

Cats: prefers to be solo; tolerates others
Dogs: gets along
Children: all ages

Daisy is a certified hero! Earlier this year, a cruel person abandoned over 20 cats in two large, rusty kennels in Pauma Valley. We suspect that they may have been left there to drown because the kennels were placed next to a creek during a week of heavy rainfall. The creek water was flooding into the crates. Trapped inside, the small kittens climbed on top of the big cats trying to stay dry. Mama cats like Daisy did all they could to shield the little ones. Thankfully, a local woman spotted them during her walk and rescued them in the nick of time! In foster care, Daisy and her crew of kittens thrived! Now, this sweet mama is searching for her fabulous forever home!

In foster care, Daisy went straight to work! She tag-teamed with another cat mom to nurse seven sick and underweight kittens back to health. Even though no one could be certain which kitty belonged to whom, it didn't matter to Daisy; they were one big, fluffy family! No longer paws deep in kitten-rearing, this tuxedo beauty is splurging in the indoor lifestyle. A young feline herself, she loves to play with her wands and kick toys. Throw in some catnip to turn the game into a party! There are two things that Daisy is always up for: Catnip Happy Hour and cuddles! She adores a good snuggle session. Feeling extra ooey-gooey, she'll plant sweet nose kisses on you. As your binge-watching buddy, you can count on her to join you on the couch for a movie marathon. Confident and independent, she doesn't mind if you work during the day. Daisy is content to watch the birds outside the window. While she enjoys getting glimpses of the outdoors, she has no interest in going back. She's grateful to live in a safe home. Afterall, safe homes come with yummy food! An infection required her to have all her teeth removed. Since her dental makeover, she is happy, healthy and pain-free. Nothing stops this gummy bear from enjoying a delicious meal!

Daisy has a calm demeanor. Even though she will tolerate other felines, she would prefer to be the solo cat queen of the castle. She didn't mind living with the big resident dog in foster care. She'd likely adjust well to a welcoming pooch. Kiddos of all ages are welcomed!

Daisy deserves an amazing family and a home bursting with love and affection! Do you have what it takes?
