My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there, I'm Chloe! 🐾

I'm a cheerful, bouncy 4-month-old Siberian Husky, and I'm just full of love! I get along great with other dogs, adore kids, and am always excited to meet new people. I'm still learning about housetraining and crate training, so I need someone patient and kind to help me out as I figure things out. I did really well in my foster home, especially when I was on a routine—I'm a quick learner!

I'm a sweet girl who's dreaming of a forever home. I ended up in rescue because a breeder couldn't sell me due to my overbite. It was pretty painful—my bottom canine teeth were digging into my mouth, making it hard for me to eat or drink. But after a surgery to remove those teeth, I'm feeling SOOO much better! I might need another surgery when I'm 7-8 months old to remove my adult canines, but we'll cross that bridge when we get there.

I promise I'll be an amazing addition to any home, and I’d love to have a buddy to play with, though it's not a must. If you think I might be the perfect fit for your family, please apply and ask for Chloe! 💕

Additional adoption info

The dogs in our care will be adopted out with an updated vet exam, they will be up to date on their rabies (if of age), and DHPP. All dogs will also be microchipped and dewormed. If they are of age, they will also be altered. We do not do pediatric spays or neuters so a deposit is required at the time of adoption, once the dog is altered, the deposit will be returned.

Due to the American Veterinary Medical Association's recommendation to not spay/neuter dogs under 6 or 12 months depending on breed and our vets recommendation. Large-breed puppies under 6-months will not be altered prior to adoption but do require a deposit that will be returned once your dog is altered. Small breed and adults that are 6-months or older, will be done prior to adoption.

During the time spent at Forever Fido, all dogs will be socialized with many confident and social dogs of all ages, safely interact with kids of many ages, appropriately meet a variety of humans, start potty and crate training, and begin basic puppy manners including impulse control.
