My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

What my friends at ACC say about me:

I am a sweet, social, older gal, looking for the perfect forever home!

I would do best in a home without very tiny humans, although I could be open to older human children once I meet them.

I love to be loved, but on my own terms! Let's brush up on some feline body language together!

My foster writes: This is Scarlet! She is a cute, playful princess with a love for snuggling. If not meowing perky "hellos" at anyone and everyone, she's probably draped across a chair or someone's lap, dozing. Scarlet's not all just cuddling and sleeping, though! Underneath the big jade eyes is a fierce huntress who chases anything remotely shaped like a snake. (Think ribbons, yarn, etc.)
Another thing you would want to know about her is that she enjoys being held! That's right, parading around the home in the gentle hands of her caregiver is a pleasurable pastime for Scarlet.(Once she's ready to be set down, she'll let you know by wiggling a little before popping gracefully to the ground.)
Always excited to meet new people, Scarlet would be elated to meet you!

A volunteer writes: When I walked into the adoptions room, I spotted two bright green, stunning eyes staring at me intently. I found beautiful Scarlet sitting at the front of her kennel, poised, ready for me to come say hello. She is a very curious girl who looked intently around the room and at her neighbors to see what they were up to while indulging in pets. She seemed to really enjoy the pets I had to offer, constantly leaning her head into my hand and letting out chirps when I would stop.
