Here is what her foster says:
Au Jus is one of the sweetest, most affectionate dogs on the planet. She loves her person(s) and
wants to be with them. No matter how many times you leave the house and come back, at each
homecoming you will find at the door a rapturously joyful, wriggling fur ball who is delighted
and excited to see you. Au Jus is not a barker. She warns you when someone walks or cycles past your house, but the barks are short. A Shssh command stops any barking that you don't want. When the neighborhood dogs carry on for long periods, she ignores them. Loud noises, thunderstorms, and the vacuum cleaner don't seem to bother this mellow girl. Car rides are a welcome treat, and she behaves perfectly: no jumping around to distract you from driving. She sits or snoozes in the back seat, so quiet that you forget that she's there. Although she enjoys chewing her chew toys and flavored chew strips, your house slippers are safe. Ditto your furniture and other belongings. Fussy eating is not built into this girl's personality. She inhales her meals and is always ready for a treat (or two or three). That load on her gastrointestinal system responds well to a spoonful of pumpkin and Greek yogurt at every feeding. She's working hard on house training. If her beautiful brown eyes don't pull you in, Au Jus' ability to get along well with people should close the sale. She makes friends easily and is a hit wherever she goes.
