She may look jet black, but Melina is actually a stunning sable! On every walk, people can't help but call her a "beauty," and with those big, gorgeous ears, it's easy to see why. At just a year old, Melina is still very much a playful pup. She adores her toys and loves playing fetch, which often turns into a fun game of tug-of-war!
Melina is a fan of long walks and runs-she's even got a crew of doggy friends at the park, like Bonnie, Maui, Sandy, Gigi, and MoMo. She gets so excited to see them that she'll do her signature "play bow" from 30-40 feet away! Melina would love a furry sibling someday, but for now, she's soaking up all the love as an only child.
This sweet girl has a bit of a bum leg, but it doesn't slow her down one bit! She's still all about zoomies, fetch, and even some light parkour off the deck. Melina is fantastic with kids, curious about cats, and friendly with strangers-though she's still working on her doorbell manners.
Smart as can be, she learned to ring the bells on the door to go outside in just 10 days and is fully housebroken! She's also a mix of energy and calm, equally happy to chase squirrels or just watch them from the deck.
Melina is ready to find her forever home and bring endless joy and beauty to her new family. Could that be you? Please consider adopting Melina!
