My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Fun Facts About James!
- He is house trained and crate trained.
- He's a lower energy dog who would love to live a quiet life in the suburbs somewhere.
- James LOVES to give hugs to his humans.
- He is great at matching energy. If you want to spend the day on the couch or need to get some work done from home he is a really chill guy. If you want to play or run around the backyard he is happy to do that with you.
- He is a home body. James does NOT want to be an adventure dog. He's had enough excitement bouncing through a couple different shelters in his first year of life. You don't need to feel badly about not wanting to go for a walk or not wanting to take him to brunch with you. He doesn't really want to go either.
- He would love to have another dog and a backyard. He has been good with both small and large dogs. He REALLY wants to be our cat's friend, but they do not want to be his so how he would be truly living with cats is still TBD.
- You will never have to wonder where James is as he will happily follow you from room to room. Want to close the bathroom door? Don't worry James will be waiting when you get out.
- James' biggest fear is large wooden spoons. If you are using one to stir he will excuse himself from the kitchen.
- James is not a big barker in the house, he maybe barks at passers by and delivery drivers 10% of the time.
- Having a party and don't want the dog to eat the horderves? James would prefer not to be part of the party anyway and will happily hang out in the other room with a kong.
- James is an INCREDIBLY easy dog to have in the home, he loves his humans, but is an introvert. While he will completely accept new people coming into your home do not expect him to be the dog that is going to be sitting in their laps within 10 minutes of meeting them.
