My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Looking for a lovepot? A mushmouth? A kisser? You definitely need Cadi.

Unlike any other dog we've ever had - and we have had many over 60 years, she sits in front of you with her head reaching up towards your face, her eyes glinting with excitement, while she offers you her velvet muzzle because she loves getting kisses on the lips!

Cadi is an extraordinarily perfect dog. She is so gentle that it's difficult to believe that she is also so protective of her family.

She knows she's got a job to do and who she is keeping safe. She's on duty to make sure that everyone in the house is taken care of, that she knows where her humans are and all is well. If everything is is quiet she may doze off but that head perks up the minute she hears something. It's incredibly comforting to know how safe you are. No worries about guests either. She greets them with you to be sure everyone is welcome and then gladly offers to play with your friends, too.

She sleeps throughout the night and, in fact, has that lazy look in the morning that says, "Why are you getting up? Can't we just sleep in a little while longer and cuddle? It's infectious.

Cadi is also incredibly smart. She has been evaluated by trainers at the local behavior canine training facility and her ability to pick up new commands and please her owner is extraordinary.

It is only because we are older and there is a knee surgery in the family that prevents us from keeping Cadi. Nothing would please us as much as knowing that she is going to be in a family that loves and deserves her and where she can contribute what she knows and what she can offer in the way of affection, security, and playtime.

Please put Cadi at the top of your list for adoption. If you have kids, she is gentle. If you want quiet, she is peaceful. And if you want love, she is 100% all heart.
