Everyone meet Banks, he's an absolute love! This distinguished gentleman is looking for his furever home!
Banks is a basset hound who just turned 10, but don't tell him that! He thinks he's half his age, enjoying long walks and running in the yard, playing with toys, and easily navigating stairs and jumping onto and off of furniture- I try to help him off but he usually thinks I'm too slow. One of the saddest things is hearing a senior dog was an owner surrender, but Banks hasn't let that change his view of people- he LOVES everyone, giving you the sweetest kisses whenever you'll let him and cuddling up with you. He loves other dogs and shows this love by being in their personal space and trying to give them kisses which can sometimes be a lot for other dogs, but he doesn't have a mean bone in his body. His walking manners have majorly improved in just a week, he barely pulls and we're working on "look at me" with a treat reward since he's reactive towards other dogs when he's on the leash- he just wants to say hi to everyone all the time! He's potty trained and will bark at the door to let you know he has to go outside! He's such an incredible dog and will make his future family very happy with his sweet nature and goofy personality.

BTR is Woman-founded by Harleigh Garcia, who was 20 years old at the time.
