My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I've had the pleasure of fostering Jackie for about a month now. She is one of the sweetest dogs you will ever meet. I had originally met her a few weeks earlier when I was fostering another dog and brought them in to meet a potential adopter. She had just come back from a dog day out and was super shy but I got her to come up to me and say hi and she gave me a hug and I said I would be fostering her next if she was still available. It took her a few days to start warming up to me and to take in her new environment but over time she's gotten more comfortable going outside and walking around in the yard. She has heartworm so I haven't really taken her on long walks or played with her much but you can tell once she's feeling better she's going to be a lot of fun.

For now she gets lots of rest on the couch or in bed. She has no problem making herself at home once she's comfortable with you and her environment. She's full of love and will cuddle with you all day. She loves belly rubs. She knows her name and is very treat motivated. We taught her how to walk up and down stairs because that was new for her and she will go to the door when she needs to go potty. She gets lots of compliments on how cute she is and does well around strangers and other dogs even if they are barking at her. I can't wait for her to find her forever home and I know whoever that ends up being is going to love her as much as I do."
