Approximate DOB 7/5/2024
Approximate Adult Size - Small (momma Tinker is 9 lbs and dad is unknown)
History- Momma Tinker along with her 4 puppies (Snickers, Twix, Godiva, and Big Hunk) were surrendered to a local shelter as strays when the puppies were a week old. Momma Tinker was showing aggression towards kennel staff (new environment and 4 puppies to protect). The shelter couldn't get anyone to foster her but the staff knew she was just trying to protect the babies but still nobody would foster them. So when we called them about another dog they told us about her. They knew she was showing aggression but they also knew and understood why so they truly advocated for her and her little family to come into rescue. So here they are and the babies are now old enough to start looking for their happily ever afters.
Temperament- Super sweet, loves attention, and is super playful. This guy is nuts for kisses!!! e absolutely goes wild for kisses and cuddles. This might be the most hyper and loving of the litter. He is very outgoing and climbs all over everyone.
Energy Level- This cute little tiny guy is a ball of energy who wants nothing more than to climb up you for kisses and cuddles. He is our wild child!!! Please keep in mind all puppies no matter how sweet and quiet and mellow still need time, love, training, and playtime to burn energy and be the best puppies they can be. If you are not prepared for sharp nails and teeth and a lot of training, messes, and work then please consider an adult dog who is already trained.
Dogs/Cats- Loves all the other dogs and cats
Housetrained- He is currently using puppy pads and in an x-pen when he can't be watched. Adopter will need to be willing and able to housetrain. We recommend all puppies be kept in an x-pen with bed, food/water, and a puppy pad or litter box when they can't be watched to prevent puppies from getting into the habit of going potty in the house where they can't be corrected. In an x-pen with a puppy pad they know the puppy pad is where they go then slowly you can start losing the x-pen. If you have a dog door even better!!! Crates for puppies in my opinion are a recipe for disaster because if they go potty in it there is nowhere for them to get away from the mess then the owner gets upset because they've stepped in it and gotten poop everywhere. So if you can get an x-pen or baby gate and put them in an area where they can have a puppy pad is best.
This little guy is super cute and will be adopted quickly. He is so tiny and looks like a tiny Golden Retriever with his fuzzy coat and golden color. His mom seems to be a Chihuahua X and we aren't sure what dad is. We are guessing Shih Tzu due to the heads and coats of some of them however we could have more than one dad so who knows. It will be a surprise!! But for now two look like tiny Boston Terriers and two like Shih Tzu mixes(well Golden Retriever I guess but know that can't possibly be with mom being so tiny). This boy absolutely loves, loves, loves attention and cuddles and would make an amazing adventure buddy exploring trails and parks.
Adoption fee $300 includes neuter, age appropriate vaccinations (4 for puppies), deworming, microchip, rabies, collar and leash, training information, and all the support you need.
