My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Piper is an adorable, playful, beautiful tortoiseshell baby, 8 months old (DOB ~ 4/3/24), and she has a best friend, Phoebe, if interested. Piper's mom is available as well, Lacy, also a tortie (not yet posted), is on the small side, so Piper may stay petite.

All of our cats/kittens are neutered/spayed, tested, shots, microchipped, litter trained.
Adoption fee for Piper, Phoebe, and Leo is $100 each or $150 for a pair. Our application is simple, processed quickly, and speeds the adoption process as well as the microchip registration.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

The first step in our adoption process is the completion of our adoption application, and we do not charge an application fee. We charge an appropriate adoption fee to cover most of the costs associated with vetting each animal. We have a 2 page contract to be signed at time of adoption, and we offer a 14 to 30 day money back return policy, dependent upon age of the animal.

More about this rescue

Adopt-a-Kitty is an all species/breed caregiver to lost, homeless, and unwanted pets that are in need, locally and in nearby surrounding areas, concentrating mainly on cats and kittens. We accept “special needs” pets as well, when in need. In the last 5 years, we have placed hundreds of animals, a good portion pulled from high kill shelters. Our mission in life is to love, care for, and PLACE animals who haven't been given a chance. All pets are tested, spayed or neutered, vaccinated, etc. prior to adoption. We provide a safe place for our rescued pets to stay until a forever family can be found. Because we are a grassroots organization, we rely on help from the public, adoption donations, and money from our own pockets.
