My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

If hugs and kisses could heal everything, we`d never stop hugging and kissing Angel. Her soft, soulful eyes tell a story of resilience, but also a silent plea for the chance to live a life full of love and happiness—a chance she`s probably never truly had. You see, Angel was found wandering the streets, a stray with a past that remains a mystery. But despite the unknowns of her history, one thing is clear: Angel`s heart is as pure as they come. Angel has a future, one filled with the warmth of a loving home, endless belly rubs, and yes, all the hugs and kisses she could ever want. Angel doesn`t seem to like other dogs at this time. She is heartworm positive and will be starting treatment soon.

Additional adoption info

HSNMB does not hold animals and all adoptions are done on a first-come, first-served basis in person at the shelter. Once the adoption is completed and the fee is paid, you must take the animal with you at that time.

Please be sure to bring a photo ID and cash or a credit card for the adoption fee. The primary caregiver is required to be present to go through the adoption process. Any children 5 and under and, in some cases, any existing dogs living in the home will be required to be present and meet the animal prior to adopting. Meet and greets are not required for all animals, but may be deemed necessary by HSNMB staff for specific pets.

Adoption Fees:
Cats (over 6 months of age): $60
Kittens (under 6 months of age): $100
Dogs (over 6 months of age): $110
Puppies (under 6 months of age): $140
Seniors ages 60 and up qualify for discounted adoptions fees.
