My name is Zane *Arriving 9/21*!

Zane has had a tough start, but he’s come a long way and is ready to find his forever family. After losing his sister, he was a little shy and reserved at first, but with time and care, he’s blossomed into a sweet and patient pup. He’s eager to please and loves personal attention. His easygoing demeanor makes him a great companion for someone willing to put in a little extra time to help him grow into his full potential!

Zane does well with other dogs and has even learned to share his food without any issues, as he was a bit of a food hog when he first arrived. He’s happiest just being around his people, especially if there’s a comfy bed involved. One thing Zane doesn’t love? Goats. But he enjoys watching the chickens and loves car rides, where he happily wags his tail and looks out the window.

Though he’s still a bit timid in new situations, Zane has a gentle spirit and just needs a little encouragement to play and relax. He’s low-key, only barking when turkeys wander into his space, but he’s happiest with personal attention, lots of toys, and a loving home where he can feel safe and adored.

Zane is from Texas. They arrive in Minnesota on 9/21/2024 and will need to be picked up from the Ruff Start Rescue office in Princeton, MN between the hours of 9am and noon. Please plan for their arrival accordingly as we cannot accommodate pickups outside of this time frame.  Since they haven’t arrived yet, they are available exclusively through Ruff Start’s Foster to Adopt (FTA) Program. Ruff Start’s veterinary suite is located in Princeton, MN, and, as the foster, you will be required to transport your dog to and from these vetting appointments.
