Aspen is 1 of 6 litter mates turned in at the shelter when he was almost 1 year old. They did not have much socialization with humans and he is working hard to trust and bond with is foster mom. Aspen has very beautiful and distinctive coloring, white with a pink nose and pale eyes. He is gentle but still quite shy and will do best in a home with another dog to help him with his confidence. He is doing well with house training but still needs supervision. He is not suitable for a home with small children as he is still working on his confidence and house training'

All our dogs live in foster homes. Please contact the foster home email listed for any specific questions you may have.
We will need a completed adoption application before considering adoption. Please complete and submit our adoption application (linked below)

Please note, our adoptions are not done on a "first come first serve" basis. We are looking for the best possible match for our dogs and reserve the right to select or refuse an application at our discretion.

CAN is a 100% volunteer-based rescue and all our volunteers have jobs, families and dogs to take care of. Thank you for your patience and understanding if we don't get back to you immediately.

Our experience as animal rescuers and pet owners has given us first hand knowledge of the desperate plight of companion animals in today's society.
