For Adopt a Pet and the PEDIGREE® brand, October is all about finding homes for dogs in shelters. Adopt this month for a PEDIGREE® Wet Food Pouch and a chance to win a Homecoming-style photo shoot and shelter donation.
Star is the sweetest little kitten, found alone as she wandered up to someone's door a few weeks ago very thin and hungry. She had a hard time at first gaining weight and getting some tummy issues under control, but she's now thriving and over 3lbs. She was just fixed, and is microchipped and vaccinated too. She loves to run and play, explore outside (supervised) and cuddle in bed with you at night. She is using the litter box and eating wet food multiple times a day with dry food access at all times too. We love cats at HCH and owning a kitten is best when you have a friendly adult to play with. As a single kitten, we know Star would love a friend at her age or just as playful as she is! She is so excited to meet and play with the kitty friend you have at home! Adopting a new kitten means 15-20 years of care and commitment, please make sure you're ready and willing. She has been around a dog (friendly, older) another cat and puppies. She's well adjusted and just perfect - we think ;). She's almost all black with a little white "STAR" on her chest.
Star is in foster care, you can meet her by contacting her foster mom at #727.459.0401 or lolson@highcountryhumane.org.
