What a sweetheart of a bunny this guy is! Peanut Bunner has every right to be a little leery of new things but he's just so happy to be safe and cared for now that he puts his fears out of his mind and he makes friends so easily. Peanut Bunner had a home but was turned in due to his owner being unable to provide him with the medical care that he needed. Peanut had several wounds and abscesses on him when he arrived. They've all been treated and although he has some scarring, he's feeling like a brand new bunny now. Peanut Bunner is only around a year old. He doesn't love being picked up however, he loves new friends and is so happy to get all of the attention you'll give him. He's very outgoing, curious, and he has a ton of personality! He seems curious about the other bunns in his area too. Please give Peanut Bunner the great home he deserves! Call 609-693-1900 or email: office@ahsppz.org for an application. File#75073 8/18/24

More about this shelter
The Associated Humane Societies rescues stray and homeless animals, both domestic and wildlife, providing quality care and sanctuary until loving homes can be found. As a community-based organization, we provide low-cost veterinary care and humane education to promote responsible pet guardianship throughout New Jersey.
For over a century we have offered a haven to abused and neglected animals. Founded in 1906, AHS is the largest animal sheltering system in New Jersey, operating three shelters located in Newark, Forked River, and Tinton Falls. Our Forked River facility also includes Popcorn Park. Established in 1977, Popcorn Park is a sanctuary for abandoned, injured, ill, exploited, abused or elderly wildlife, exotic and farm animals, and birds.
The Society is a not for profit, 501(c)3 organization and we take pride in our devotion to the thousands of animals that come through our doors looking for a better life.
Please visit our website AHSCares.org for additional information.
