Las Trancas is a beautiful 4-year old female Tuxedo kitty who was brought to the HSOV on June 22, 2024 along with her three 2-month old kittens (Chipotle, Gran Ranchero, and Qdoba) by a Good Samaritan who found them on Edmar Avenue in Marietta Ohio.
This lovely kitty has a black-and-white short smooth coat in a tuxedo pattern, white paws, a long tail, and an adorable face with golden eyes, a black velvet nose, and long white whiskers.
Las Trancas has a playful, outgoing Type 'A' personality and loves attention.
Las Trancas was given vaccinations, wormer and flea treatment on July 9-11, 2024. She weighed 7.3 lbs that day. Las Trancas was given booster vaccines on July 26- and August 13, 2024.
Las Trancas is now an 'empty-nester' since her kittens are fully weaned and have been separated from their mother.
Las Trancas will be spayed in the near future and will soon be looking for a loving home either through adoption or rescue.
Rescue groups may contact our HSOV Feline Rescue Coordinator via email (sharonpaul2@suddenlink.net). We can usually help with transportation.
UPDATE: Las Trancas was spayed on September 17, 2024 and was also given rabies vaccine. She weighed 9.1 lbs that day.
Las Trancas was adopted on October 12, 2024 but came back to HSOV on October 19, 2024 because she didn't get along with the family's male cat :( He tried to initiate play by bringing her his toys and she would viciously attack him :(
So we have taken the precaution of suggesting that Las Trancas would prefer a home that she wouldn't have to share with other cats. She may, of course, turn out to be ok with female cats.
