My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

MUTT and GUY are a bonded pair of buff-colored tabby twin brothers.  Mutt has the biggest polydactyl “mitts” you've ever seen! Both kittens are very sweet, laid back boys with a calm energy. They enjoy playing with the Cat Dancer, climbing the cat tree, and snuggling with each other. They were born to an unfixed momma cat, and have been raised in a loving foster home where they adapted quickly.  They enjoy cuddling with their humans and will make a great addition to your family.

They have been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, are negative for FeLV and FIV, and include a free wellness visit with our vet partners . To meet MUTT and GUY at the Cat Lounge, please fill out an Adoption Application for consideration at catrescues.org/adopt, and an adoption counselor will contact you for a possible meet-and-greet at the Eugene Springfield Cat Lounge, 537 W. Centennial Blvd., Springfield. The $320 adoption fee for the pair allows us to continue to provide care and find loving homes for abandoned and neglected cats in our Eugene/Springfield community. Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

All potential adopters are required to complete our application and contract. Our contract stipulates the requirements for care of our pets. These documents are available through e-mail or at our adoption events. The documents are reviewed by our staff and together with a face to face interview we explore the potential new home. If all parties agree to the specifics of the contract the dog or cat can go home. Adoption fee varies with age of pet.
All pets are current on vaccinations, health checked by our veterinarian, De-wormed, treated with flea medication, spayed or neutered, and cats are felv/fiv tested.

More about this rescue

Our mission is to provide care and find loving homes for cats and kittens of our community, with a focus on those with special needs. Currently we only work with Cats. We offer temporary housing in foster homes until they can be placed through our adoption process. We have adoption centers within both Petsmarts in Eugene, at Chad Drive, near Costco, and 29th and Willamette; PetCo by Valley River Center and Wags Dog Emporium on Coburg Rd. Cat Rescue & Adoption Network works with humane societies, other animal rescue groups, the public and government animal services agencies to offer them relief from their overpopulation problem. All cats in our custody receive the medical care they need. Cat Rescue & Adoption Network is a non-profit organization. All money raised is used to help Cat Rescue & Adoption Network save as many animal lives as possible.
