My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Laila was spotted in a Craigslist ad and was surrendered to us. She came from Palmdale, CA. Her original owner passed away and the family couldn’t keep her. We were told that she’s 1yo. She’s a tricolor Beagle, she weights about 25lbs. She’s a bit shy at first but warms when she gets to know you.

She’s been doing good with our other dogs, she was living with another Beagle, male the same age. We’re starting crate training, to sleep indoors at night. She’ll need some training to become an indoor pet, once she’s adopted.

Included with Laila’s adoption:

- Wellness exam
- Vaccinations up to date (DHPP, Bordetella and Rabies)
- Rabies certificate
- Fecal test (Pending results)
- FLEX4 test: Heartworm, Ehrlichia, Anaplasma and Lyme (Pending results)
- Heartworm/Flea/tick/deworm preventive given up to date (Simparica Trio)
- Microchip with lifetime enrollment (AKC reunite)
- Spay surgery
- Leash and collar
- Adoption contract
- Some of her current food

Laila was in heat when we took her in, so we’re currently waiting for her heat cycle to be over so we’re able to get her spayed. She’ll be ready to be adopted in about 2-3 weeks. *To place a hold on a dog that’s not ready to be adopted yet we require that the potential adopter signs the adoption paperwork and place a deposit towards the dog’s adoption fee, to ensure adoption commitment.*
