Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This beautiful lady is Matilda Jane. I rescued her off the street in 2019 as a young cat. She is about 5 years old, give or take.
We introduced our first born to the family 8 months ago, and while she is very sweet and curious towards him our change of environment has caused her immense anxiety.
We had to move into my parents basement, and the lack of windows and space has been very hard on her. She loves to chirp at the birds and will look outside for hours. This factor accompanied with our focus and attention primarily being on our baby has been hard on her, as she requires lots of snuggles and attention.
I work in the veterinary field, so I took the precaution of starting her on Prozac before the move and the arrival of our baby but that didnt help her.
Matilda would be happiest in a home with windows, and parents who have the time to give her tons of love and affection. She may take a little while to feel comfortable with new people, but she is a great companion.
