My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Kobalt!!
He is one of 3 remaining pups from our power tool litter. Super sweet family dog. Really great personality. He loves everyone and everything.
He has definitely hit a growth spurt. The extra long legs are comical. He will grow into his legs shortly lol.
**Looking for SEPARATE homes**
He is an approx 5 month old male. One of the siblings adopters got a DNA test done and they are purebred American Foxhounds. The mom was about 40 pounds.
All Puppies have been given several sets of vaccines, dewormed, a microchip and neutered.
KOBALT- A great mix of both playful and Chill. He loves to be the center of attention for all the petting and belly rubs. He will play really well with others. Playful and fun but really likes cuddles and being held.
He loves other dogs and love kids, He has not yet met any cats but is young enough to learn. He tries his best with potty training but is still very young and may have accidents at times. He has had very few accidents when crated and let out frequently.
He has not taken many car rides but a few did get sick on the ride here. He is still young and can learn with practice. He is new to leash training and doing well. He does great with crate training. He will go in for treats and sleep in the crate at night. HOWEVER they are currently in the crate with their siblings, and it’s very likely that there will be some sleepless nights in your home with crate training once they are separated. He has not had any trouble sharing food treats and toys.
He loves to explore and play but is also sweet and cuddly. He is a fun, curious and happy puppy. He currently only barks when playing but hounds are known for being vocal. He loves to be picked up and held.
Adopting a young puppy is a ton of work. They will have lots of potty accidents, chew things up etc. You will need to help them learn things like leash walking, crate training and basic manners. It can be a lot of work but the reward is a dog that fits well into your family’s lifestyle if you invest proper time on training with them. Please carefully consider the time and effort a puppy requires before adopting.
We do NOT adopt siblings into the same family. Before commenting on how sad etc, you feel that is please google “littermate syndrome” so you can understand why we take this precaution. It is done in the best interest of the puppies.
Vet and home checks required.
Would not make good apartment dogs.
Located in Hampton VA.
(He will need to be adopted within a 2 hour drive radius)
