Sweet pup Lily is a playful, energetic pup in need of a forever home to fully bloom!
Pretty Lily is a 1 (and a half) year old German Shepherd and weighs 48 lbs. Everything about Lily quickly steals your heart. Sadly, she was found as an extremely emaciated stray and brought to the overcrowded chaotic shelter. Despite her breed popularity and perfect size, with the animal rescue crisis growing in NYC, poor baby Lily found herself awaiting euthanasia. A caring foster saw her pathetic story, and knew in her heart that beautiful Lily deserved a chance at life. Since then Lily has finally been able to act like the puppy she is – playing in a yard, making new dog friends, and packing on some well deserved pounds! Lily is such a sweet girl, grateful for any affection as she learns about the world. She will make a wonderful companion; she is so easy to love, as she tilts her pointy-eared head and peers up at you with her adoring eyes. Lily has a higher energy level and loves to run around a yard with her canine friends. She is dog friendly and non-reactive to cats (she has not lived with them but was cat tested multiple times with no reaction). Lily is fully vetted, spayed, microchipped and ready for her forever home!
If you can open your heart and home to dear Lily, please contact AmsterDog by call/text at 917-689-8414 or by e-mail at info@amsterdog.org. Apply to adopt Lily at AmsterDog.org.

AmsterDog Rescue does not have its own facility. Instead, we rely on fosters to care for our beloved animals. Our available animals may change depending on your location and we do transport animals for adoptions within a reasonable distance. Since you will possibly be speaking with and meeting a foster directly, an application must be filled out prior to meet and greets.
