FRITO NEEDS A FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME!!!!

Name:   Frito         Best Guess for Breed:   Shepherd, Terrier Mix  

Best Guess for Age:   9 months old as of August 2024         SEX:    Male

Approximate Weight:   45 lbs as of August 2024; he is still growing!

Gets Along With:    Good with other dogs! Frito has lots of fun chasing small animals, so we would be cautious about adopting him to a home with cats.

Currently Living at:   DC area boarding partner (Frito needs a foster to stay with until he finds his forever home!)

Frito is Looking For:   My forever home with a family that can provide long walks, take me on adventures and provide me lots of opportunities to play with other dogs! As my name implies…I love treats and I would love to earn some tasty treats by showing off my smarts in training. I love playing and hanging out with other dogs in play groups, and get along great with my kennel-mate. If you have another dog in the home, I am sure we would become fast friends, but if not I will gladly take all of your love for myself. 

What My Foster Says About Me:   Frito loves wrestling and playing with other dogs! He loves to take long sniffy walks and does well walking on a leash, especially in a harness. He is very sweet and curious with both people and dogs of all sizes! Frito has visited bookstores, homes with cats, dog parks, and has gone on lots of other adventures in DC. He has done amazing and really enjoyed all of these new experiences! He is curious, friendly, sweet, smart, and gentle, and he is ready to find his forever home. He has had  fun in boarding where he can play with friends, but he is eager to get into a home of his own. 

Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken.  All of our dogs are working on their crate training.
