My name is ROWDY!

Hi my name is Rowdy!  I am a 5 year old shih tzu who weighs 17 lbs  I am not sure why my name is Rowdy because I am not really a rowdy pup except when I am at the groomer.  Thought I better get that out of the way first.  That is my LEAST favorite thing in the world.  For a guy with long hair I really did not need that personality trait but sadly that is me.  I try really hard but unfortunately it is just too scary for me.  I require a 'little' shot in order to be endure this.  On the other hand when I am back to my handsome self, I am a sweet and confident young man.  I love other dogs, am OK with cats and good with people.  No young children though.  I definitely prefer adults.  I was surrendered to Critter Cavalry with my 2 sisters when our family could no longer take care of us.  I was a little scared and withdrawn at first but once I settled in I realized what is was like to be taken proper care of and to be loved for who I am.  I am a good boy.  I love to play and get along well with everyone in my foster home.  I walk OK on a leash and ride great in the car.  I am housebrokn, doggie door and crate trained.  I have been neutered and am current on all my shots, on monthly preventative and microchipped.  I am ready for my forever home.  I hope that will be with you.  To be considered for my forever family and to request an application, please contact Vivienne at viviennejames@comcast.net.  APPROVED APPLICATION AND ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED.  (I am currently in Tennessee and can be transported north upon adoption.)
