My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Puppy Happy Hershey.  He is a happy and playful young boy who is sweet as a piece of hershey chocolate.  You just can't help but smile when you watch his antics as he plays with his two buddies in his foster mom's back yard.  They have the best time ever running, jumpiing and chasing each other.  These boys are fast friends so Hershey really needs another little buddy in his forever home.  He would be lost and lonely without a young canine playmate.  This sweet little boy loves people and does not meet a strange.  He approaches easily to smell you and when he knows you are alright you will be his buddy.  Hershey will also settle down to watch TV or take in a movie with you.  He would be an excellent family pet and a great companion.  He is housebroken, crate trained and he rides great in the car.  If you are looking for a sweet boy that will love you to pieces and be a great family addition then you have found him in Hershey.  Hershey is scheduled to be neutered and finish his vetting on 9/9.  He will then be ready to travel to his forever home.  We hope that will be with you.  To be considered for Hershey's forever family and to request an application please contact Vivienne at viviennejames@comcast.net.  APPROVED APPLICATION AND ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED.  (Hershey is in Tennessee and can be transported north upon adoption.)

Additional adoption info

Most all our dogs are fostered in Tennessee and transport up to the Northeast or New England. Our fees start at $500 and can be higher depending on the dog and circumstances for their vetting. All fees cover the health certificate, transportation up to designated places for families to pick up their pre-adopted dog, spay/neuter, rabies, all shots, fecal and dewormings, microchip, complete vet check up and 4 way heartworm test if dogs are older than 8 months.

Adoption application

Go meet their pets

We are a full volunteer rescue organization. All of our animals are kept in loving foster homes, receiving the best care possible. A completed application must be submitted and approved to meet with our dogs/pups. A completed application helps us determine compatibility and also helps us to ensure a successful adoption.

More about this rescue
