Bertram has been in his foster home and his foster mom reports that he is the most cheerful and loving little pup. He sleeps all night long in the kennel and looks forward to his outdoor walks. He is walking better on the leash every day. He has been taught to sit and is working on lie down. He responds to his name. Bertram has recently met other dogs and has acted great around them - no growling or snarling - just polite curiosity. He has met a neighbor's cat with the same interest but no animosity. He has met the mailman and was very friendly to him. Bertram definitely wants to be where you are. With a little more potty training, Bertram will be the absolute best dog for anyone to have!
The Adoption Fee Includes Age-Appropriate Vaccinations (DA2PPV, Bordetella, Rabies), Deworming, Spay/Neuter, Microchip, Flea, Tick and Heartworm Treatment and Prevention, and Sheltering. Adult Dogs are Heartworm Tested and Treated as Needed. FOCCAS does not DNA test or guarantee breed.
Adoption Fee: Local = $350 - Transport = $650 (out of state to Great Lakes or New England regions)

We are an all volunteer animal welfare organization and foster based rescue located in Cumberland County TN. We work tirelessly to help as many stray, abandoned and injured pets as possible and find them new, loving homes.
Any pet transported out of state to a pre-approved adopter will be transported via Rescue Riders LLC, a leader in professional pet transport.
Our pets are fully vetted and will have a health certificate issued by a vet within two weeks of transport.
Once an application is approved, you will be contacted with the details of transport and pick up time and location.
