My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Rex is a lively and energetic male Shepherd puppy, ready to explore the world and make new friends. He is full of curiosity and playfulness, always eager to learn new tricks and show off his impressive intelligence. Meet Rex, a loyal and devoted dog who will steal your heart with just one look.

From a young age, Rex has shown great potential as a working dog with his strong and agile body. He loves running, jumping, and playing fetch, making him the perfect companion for outdoor adventures. His fluffy coat and warm brown eyes make him an irresistible addition to any family.

Being a puppy under 1 year old, Rex is still in his mischievous phase and loves to chew on anything he can get his paws on. But with proper training and lots of love and attention, he is quickly learning what is acceptable to chew on and what is not. Despite his playful nature, he is a quick learner and is already making progress with his obedience training.

Come and meet Rex, the adorable Shepherd puppy who will melt your heart and make you fall in love with him at first sight.

Go meet their pets

Over 75% of our dogs are in foster homes along the front range. The foster will get in touch to schedule meetings for their foster dog. Meetings will happen in/near their homes since that is where the dog is the most comfortable. We do want you to bring family members (human and dog) to the meeting! Dogs who are currently at our Windsor facility will have meetings there and a volunteer will reach out to schedule those meetings with you. Please be aware that we do not place our dogs on a first come, first served basis, but rather a best-fit placement. Never fear, applications are valid for a year so if the first dog you meet isn't a good fit, we will have plenty of time to find one that is.
