My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Double Delight has her adoption fee sponsored by a generous donor!

What my friends at ACC say about me:

My history is a mystery and my friends here do not know much about me yet!

It is unknown if I have ever lived with other animals or children.

I would do best in a home with only adult humans.

I would appreciate slow introductions to new people and places to help me feel safe.

My #BoroughBreak Buddy Writes: She was a bit standoffish around other large dogs, but did pull towards smaller dogs and squirrels, so may be best as an only pet. About 75% of the time, if I got her attention and asked her to sit with the accompanying hand signal, she did. She seemed very eager to please and get pets, so I think she would probably be fairly easy to train. She LOVED getting to meet new people, and didn't seem to feel any particular way about kids.

My #BoroughBreak Buddy Writes: Double Delight was truly such a joy. She loves to give hugs and thinks she is a lap dog. She doesn't like other dogs barking and will bark back. She also was very curious and wanted to go up to every dog and most humans. She will pull hard on the leash, but would sometimes respond to come or if you tapped on the ground she would sit by you.
