Here's what the humans have to say about me:
New York, New Jersey, Connecticut area: Due to his own medical issues, my father is suddenly unable to take care of his two senior "kidney cats," and we can’t take them in due to severe cat allergies of our own.
Pedro and Penelope are 15-year-old bonded siblings. Pedro is curious, friendly, and eager for attention, while Penelope is more shy. They have spent their whole lives together in a loving home. They are indoor cats, have been spayed/neutered, and have never received any vaccinations.
They were recently checked out by a vet and put on a special renal diet, but they still enjoy a good quality of life.
We are in a real bind because no one in our family can care for the cats. We know it’s a big ask, but we are hoping against hope that there is someone out there who will adopt Pedro and Penelope and give them love — we really don’t want to surrender them to a city shelter or have them put to sleep!
If you can possibly do this – or know someone who can – we will do everything to
