My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Goldie is a SUPER SWEET little girl who has had a bit of a bumpy life and now wants to find her forever home. A few years ago, Goldie (who was a kitten herself at the time) was dumped on the streets with a litter of kittens. She was a good Mama and she and all of her kittens found great homes. Recently, through no fault of hers, Goldie’s owner asked for help to re-home her due to the owner’s health issues. Goldie is a shy little girl when she first meets you, but she came into her foster Mom’s home and has done quite well. In the beginning, she was shy and unsure but after a couple of weeks she started warming up to her foster Mom and she has gotten friendlier every day.

Once she gets to know you, Goldie LOVES to be stroked and petted and have her coat bushed. Her fur is so incredibly soft – it feels like velvet.  She loves to sit in your lap while being stroked and brushed. To show her appreciation, she will give you head butts and kisses and will let you hold her paws.  She is also really good about getting her nails trimmed!  Goldie has a little meow that can sound like a “squeaky” toy.  She uses this little voice to let you know it is time to eat or have treat.  She also uses this little voice to let you know it is time for some kitty loving.  She will squeak at you and then run to her place on the couch for pets and bushing.  She prefers you sit down beside her so she can get in your lap. Goldie likes to chase some of her fuzzy/furry toys and she likes for her human to play with her and her wand toy. Goldie is a pretty chill cat and spends most of her day lying around watching what all is going on and taking little cat naps.

Goldie will do best in a mature quiet home with someone who will be patient with her while she settles in.  She will be very shy at first but once she knows she can trust you, she will be out and about and be a great little kitty companion. Goldie would prefer to be an only kitty because she was bullied by the other cats in her previous home.  She will do best with someone who has time to spend with her and who wants a kitty companion.

Goldie was born approximately August 1, 2018, and her adoption fee is $105, or adopt two and the second is one-half price. She is spayed, up-to-date on shots and deworming, has a microchip, and tested negative for feline leukemia virus and feline immunodeficiency virus.
