My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Laydee is a sweet 10-year-old Pomeranian. Laydee had a mammary tumor that had to be removed and is on the mend and healing wonderfully with no issues. Laydee would love to find her forever home! She absolutely loves everyone! Kids included. She is deaf but manages just fine. Laydee is crate trained and actually prefers her crate even during the day. If the door is open, that's where she prefers to lay. She's just an easygoing girl looking for a forever home… Laydee is a sweet 10-year-old Pomeranian. From Laydee's foster: "Laydee is a sweet older pup that still has some spunk. She's happy in her XL crate, laying around the house, or in your lap. She run and hop around at times, really excited and sometimes she'll just nap for hours. She is very quiet, she's only barked 5 times in 2.5 weeks and seems to be when she's really happy, like going out to potty in the morning so she's not a barker. Other than that she's been almost silent..a whimper here and there if she's locked in the crate with activity close by. She's great with kids, had her out to dinner last night and her tail was just wagging away when she was surrounded by kids petting her. She's been getting along great with a larger male dog and another male pom in this house, she usually wants to play more with the pom than he does with her, and he's only three! She uses the bed stairs well but due to the height, has had spill going down them, she still didn't require any training or treats to learn them though. She loves to do stretches and have her tummy rubbed. She's gone on a few car rides some miles, some hours and she does great, curls up in her bed and lays there. She also walks well on a leash with her harness. She'd make a great companion for someone that spends more time home than gone and can give her the loves she deserves."

Please consider me, I will be the best girl! Located in northern Idaho I can be transported anywhere in the Pacific northwest.

Go meet their pets

At present we are a foster based rescue. People are welcome to come meet our animals in their foster homes by appointment. In the future we will have adoption events in our areas.

More about this rescue

The founders of the multi state rescue have over 80 years of experience in rescue. We saw the need to use our experience to help and we formed Journey Home. Our love and passion for helping neglected, injured, abandoned, homeless animals is our utmost priority. Educating the communities on the need for spayed, neuter, and vaccines and training as needed. We rely on donations, and fundraisers and grants to help sustain the rescue.
Adoption only within the northwest.
